    This class on one of Martin Luther's favorite books of the Bible will meet in the church sanctuary and explore topics such as faithfulness to Scripture, authority of the apostles, church traditions, salvation by faith alone, baptism, Christian freedom, and good works.

  • Reformation Themed Studies
    Led by Pastor Belter
    Continuing in Nov. - Dec.

    2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation. Who was Martin Luther? Why did his protest stir up so much trouble? How did our Lord use a Muslim army in the cause of the gospel? Why was the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire involved in this protest? Why is the Protestant Reformation so important for Europe and all the Western world?
    Teen Group (high school ages) -- Meet in School Library
  • Topics for Teens -- Led by BJ Witte
    November and December

    This class meets to discuss and apply topics on the minds of teens.
    Middle School (6th - 8th grades) -- Meet in Mr. Zimmermann's Room
  • The Bible Miniseries -- Led by Riverview Volunteers
    September through May


    This class will highlight accounts from the Bible using a video reenactment. Students will also read corresponding sections of Scripture, discuss, and make applications to their lives.

    This class focuses on Martin Luther’s Bible-based teachings on several topics, including Christian freedom, teaching the Word to children, appreciating the Old Testament law, good works, conversion and will, prayer, marriage, and the Lord’s Supper. Come and join this lively group for discussion and fellowship!
