DPI School Report Cards
The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) creates School Report Cards and District Report Cards for publicly funded schools and districts in the state. Starting with the 2015-16 school year, report cards for private schools participating in the choice program are required by law. Riverview Lutheran School also elects to submit necessary data for all students to DPI so that an "all school" report card can be generated, separate from the Choice Report Card.
The Report Cards are intended to help schools see a clear picture of how well they are preparing students to be ready for the next educational step. Report card ratings cannot be generated for Choice student populations or for the entire school unless there are two years of data. Because state testing was suspended in the spring of 2020, Riverview has only submitted one year of data (2021 testing) at this point, so we will not receive an actual rating until the 2022-2023 report cards are published in the fall of 2023.
Riverview’s Choice and All-School Report Cards, as well as those of all other Wisconsin public and private schools participating in Choice programs, are available through the DPI website along with resources that explain the report cards.
